Uninstall Outage App

Our power outage app is installed on your device. To uninstall it, please follow the instructions below.

Once you uninstall our app, Google Maps will no longer set any new cookies on your device via the app. Any cookies previously set by Google during your use of the app may remain. To remove these cookies, you can clear your browser cookies through your browser settings.

Uninstalling an App on iOS

  1. Locate the app you want to uninstall on your home screen.
  2. Press and hold the app icon until a menu appears or the icons start to jiggle.
  3. Tap the "Remove App" option from the menu.
  4. Confirm by selecting "Delete App" when prompted.
  5. Tap "Delete" to confirm the uninstallation.

Uninstalling an App on Android

  1. Open your app drawer or locate the app on your home screen.
  2. Press and hold the app icon until a menu appears.
  3. Drag the app icon to the "Uninstall" option that appears at the top or tap the "Uninstall" option from the menu.
  4. Confirm by selecting "OK" or "Uninstall" when prompted.

Uninstalling an App on Windows

  1. Click on the Start menu and select "Settings" (the gear icon).
  2. Go to "Apps" > "Apps & features".
  3. Scroll through the list or use the search bar to locate the app you want to uninstall.
  4. Click on the app and select "Uninstall".
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation.

Uninstalling an App on macOS

  1. Click on the Finder icon in the Dock.
  2. Select "Applications" from the sidebar.
  3. Locate the app you want to uninstall.
  4. Drag the app to the Trash in the Dock, or right-click the app and select "Move to Trash".
  5. Right-click the Trash icon in the Dock and select "Empty Trash" to completely remove the app from your system.
