Pay Without an Online Account (Quick Pay)

Quick Pay lets you make a one-time credit card or Visa/Mastercard debit payment on your Battle River account — no signin or online account required. Just follow the steps below.

Quick Pay is a One-Time Payment Tool

Quick Pay payments are not saved to your online account and will not appear in your online account history. If you'd like to view payment history, create a free online account and make payments there, or set up Auto Pay (see FAQ).

Payment Restrictions

Payments after 6:00 PM MST are processed the next business day. Maximum Payment: $2,500. After 3 payment failures in one day, you will be unable to make a payment until the next day.

Step-by-Step Quick Pay Guide

    Go to the Quick Pay screen

    Visit our approved payment processor, KUBRA, to use Quick Pay.

    Enter your Account Number and Postal Code

    Enter your account number as numbers only — no decimal point or dash. Leading zeros are not required. For example, account number 00001234-00 should be entered as 123400.

    If you've recently changed to our Retail Energy Division, double-check your account number before paying.

    Enter postal code, with or without a space (e.g. T4V1X3 or T4V 1X3 both work).

    Choose your payment amount

    You'll be taken to your Account Overview, showing your current balance and payment due date. Under Select Option, choose how much to pay:

    • Select Amount Due to pay your full balance, or
    • Select Enter a Payment Amount to pay a partial amount

    Once you've specified your amount, click the Add to Cart button at the bottom.

    Important: Penalties will apply to any remaining unpaid balance if you pay less than the full amount due.

    Review your cart and proceed — or add more accounts

    You'll see a confirmation screen showing the payment you just added. Confirm the amount is correct, then choose what to do next:

    Ready to pay? Click "Go to Checkout" to proceed.
    Paying for a second account? Click "Pay Another Item" to return to the Quick Pay screen and enter the next account number. Repeat until all accounts payments are added — you'll see each one listed in your cart.
    Need to change an amount? Click "Edit Cart" to open your cart.

    Editing Your Cart? You can update any payment amount, add more account payment items, or remove an item using the trash icon.

    Select your payment method

    When you Go To Checkout you see the Payment Options screen. Review all items in your cart and confirm the amounts are correct. Then click the Debit/Credit Card button under How would you like to pay?

    Enter your card details

    Enter your credit card or Visa/Mastercard debit card information, then click Next.

    Enter your receipt contact details

    On the Enter Your Receipt Info screen, enter the name you'd like on your receipt and choose how you'd like it delivered:

    • Email — enter your email address
    • Text message (SMS) — enter your mobile number

    Once your information is correct, click Next.

    Review and confirm your payment details

    On the Review Your Payment Details screen, check the following before submitting:

    • Total payment amount
    • Account number(s)
    • Payment method (last 4 digits of your card)
    • Receipt delivery method and contact information

    Once everything looks correct, click the green Pay button at the bottom.

    Important: Once you click Pay, your card will be charged the total payment amount shown. Double-check everything before clicking.

    Payment confirmed — watch for your receipt

    You'll be brought to a confirmation screen showing that your payment was processed successfully.

    Your receipt will arrive within a few minutes:

    • Email receipt: Look for a message with the subject line "KUBRA EZ-PAY - Your payment processed successfully"
    Tip: If you chose email but don't see your receipt, check your spam or junk folder.

Quick PayDo I need an online account to use Quick Pay?

No. Quick Pay is a one-time payment tool — no signin or online account required. You just need your billing account number and postal code.

Quick PayWill my Quick Pay payment show up in my online account history?

No. Quick Pay payments are not linked to any online account. Only payments made while signed in to your online account will appear in your payment history. If you'd like payments tracked, resgister for a free online account.

Quick PayHow do I pay two different accounts in one transaction?

After adding the first account payment to your cart, click "Pay Another Item". You'll return to the Quick Pay screen where you can enter the next account number and payment. Once all payments are added, you'll see them as items in your cart at checkout.

Quick PayWhat if I entered the wrong account number?

If you believe you've paid the wrong account, contact Battle River Power Coop as soon as possible for assistance.

PaymentsHow long does a payment take to process?

Make your payment 3 business days before your due date, and before 6:00 pm MST or it will be processed the following business day and may be considered late.

PaymentsIs there a fee for paying by credit card?

No. Battle River Power Coop does not charge a convenience fee for credit card payments.

PaymentsAre there late fees or penalties for partial payments?

You can pay a portion of your amount due, but penalties will still apply to any remaining unpaid balance. We recommend paying your full balance to avoid additional charges.

PaymentsCan I pay more than my current balance?

Yes. Any overpayment will be held as a credit on your account and applied to future bills.

PaymentsCan I reverse or cancel a payment after submitting?

Some payments can be reversed. If you made an error in your account number or payment amount, contact Battle River Power Coop as soon as possible. You may also want to contact your credit card company to attempt to stop the payment on their end.

PaymentsWhat if my payment fails or my card is declined?

Try using a different card. If you believe your card is being declined in error, contact Battle River Power Coop for assistance.

PaymentsDo you accept Interac e-Transfers?

No, Interac e-Transfers are not accepted at this time.

PaymentsWhat's the difference between Quick Pay and my bank's online banking?

Quick Pay is Battle River's own payment tool — you pay directly by credit card or Visa/Mastercard debit with no extra steps. Your bank's online banking is a separate system. To set up bill payments through your bank, contact your bank directly and search for Battle River Power Coop or Battle River Rural Electrification Association Limited.

Can I set up automatic payments so I don't have to make a payment every month?

Yes — but you'll need a free online account to do it. Once you've registered for an online account, sign in and go to Bills & Payment, add your payment method to your Wallet, then set up Auto Pay. Your bill will be paid automatically each month.

SecurityIs my payment information secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by KUBRA, Battle River Power Coop's approved payment processor, who maintains the highest standards of payment security:

  • Encrypted transmission: All payments are processed over secure, encrypted connections.
  • PCI DSS 4.0 compliant: Credit card, PINless debit, and ACH payments are handled in a fully PCI-compliant environment.
  • Tokenization: Your actual payment details are never stored — a secure token is used for processing instead.
  • Restricted access: Production systems are strictly limited to authorized KUBRA personnel.
